Yeah, during some contentious nomination of Obama's a few years ago, Rand Paul was questioned on why he didn't contest that particular nomination. He said the president has a right to have his appointments confirmed. The republicans, even some of the most Liberty minded, don't play by the same rules as any given democrat.
