Re-bluing...

Anyone know of anyplace in "central Indiana" that does re-bluing?

I'm "in charge" of an old Ithaca shotgun that's in a real need for refinishing and I lack experience and the work space to even want to attempt it myself.

Mr. Nash told me that he isn't set up to do bluing...

Elmore's Firearms told me that they don't do bluing either...

Suggestions?

There's a guy down here in Bloomington that does it (or did do it). He only works a couple of days a week and is semi-retired. I've not used the service so I can't comment on how good he is, but he has the proper setup from what I hear.

I was just visiting Tactical Weapons and Supply in Crawfordsville today. I believe I saw a sign that said they offer those services.

I just heard about an old guy in or around Mooresville that does super blueing. I saw a Browning Citori that he did for a buddy of mine earlier this year. His blue really was beautiful on an old bird gun. He even "cleaned up the wood" including checkering.
Yea, I'm getting contact info on him in the next day or so.

OK, I finally got the info you wanted. It's off business cards and I'm not sure how good the info is now. I got info on 2 guys that worked on my buddy's guns. Both guns I saw were very good work, excellent detail, and very nice and deep blue. Also extremely nice wood repair and refinishing from the Jackson shop.
