Where is that gun I want to buy?

I have had quite a few requests from members to help them find a particular gun and am amazed how many firearms are “out of stock” at the distributors. Some pages list 15 guns and 12 are either out of stock or an allocated item. I am getting six month waits for some popular assault type weapons.

Once the Obama scare ends hopefully we will probably see prices drop as I am sure the manufacturers are working overtime churning out guns right now and by the time the trail end of production gets to market they could create a glut. Market dictates price and lets face it, our wives will only let us buy so many guns.

Ditto! I am fighting for anything I can get. I am also seeing prices climb and rumors of more price increases in the future. Why are all my distributors out of Glock 19's? Makes no sense, glad I stocked up.

Yes, going to be hard to get AR's and AK's, especially AK's.

Not everyone is out of Glock 19s. Saw one at Gander mountain for $600.

$600.00? I like to make a profit, but that is a bit outrages. I have about 8 of them in stock, grabbed that last ones a distributor had. Sure, they will come back in stock sooner or later, but I just could not take the chance. Just like some of my customers.

AR's and AK's are out of stock everywhere.
RSR told me they sold 5000 AR's last week and are out until further notice.
Zanders and Lipsey's had some bushmasters but they were the anniversary edition at $1200 ea.
Probably gone now.

Sog had 200 PSL's yesterday -1 since I bought mine. LOL

My question to distributor:
I have a customer who want to get on the list for the following gun. Rock River Arms LAR-8 mid-length flat top. The RRA stock number is 308A1239. What is the anticipated wait time?

Their answer to me:
Our price is $1025 but delivery is 18-24 months.

For being a Rock River that doesn't sound surprising. I have heard of them having long wait times before.
