| Expert | Are test targets common with many manufacturers? I received this test target and a shot casing with my new Walthers P99c. Is this standard practice with some manufactures? Shot at 15 meters so I guess I can't blame the gun for poor shooting. I personally don't remember running into this before and I have purchased several S&W, Ruger, Browning, etc. quality firearms.

Some states require that when you register your gun you have to provide them with a casing. They seem to think that they will be able to trace it back to you when you commit a crime. That is why some makers provide you with one. My Glock came with one. |
