Bin Laden Dead - which type of gun?

We learn today that bin laden is dead from a US administered bullet to the head. Any thoughts on the type of gun used? It was a Seal team member, so would that make it a 1911? I really hope that bastard was taken out by the classic US military pistol that has been in service for 100 years.

I thought they used the HK MK23, but I am sure I just read that in a gun magazine somewhere.

I would be surprised if it was a pistol at all.

It was probably a plain old M4, which we all know is too much of a poodle shooter to kill anyone.

Reports are saying that United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU)(old Seal Team 6)(new name currently classified) and the CIA Special Operations Group/Special Activities Division was involved with this mission.

My guess is they probably have free reign on which weapons they use.

This is probably not the case, but I hope his death was caused by a tomahawk right to the forehead.
