I can't explain what you observed, perhaps a remodeling job in part of the store? lovemywoods

| Expert ![]() | Moving that store is nearly an impossibility. That was one of the very last jobs I worked while still in the trades- and it is an amazingly intricate building. It was a very large jobsite. They will not be moving.

The reason everything was in disarray (they had a lot of stuffed animals and as much merchandise they could move upstairs) the last time I was in there was because of the October(?) flood of the Little Calumet River (I'm in the same basin - that damned river has been fatal to my house twice now ). The locals, especially anyone living in Highland, Munster, and Dyer will be painfully familiar with the last two Little Calumet River "events". The manager seriously thought about moving or doing a major redesign for awhile. He said if the electric would have gone out, the loss of clothing alone downstairs could have closed the store (they have some weird 50/50 deal with the insurance company on clothing & textiles). He's sorry about building in that godforsaken basin (he says he couldn't even count how many pumps it took to keep up with the last two times the river went three+ feet over flood-stage in '08). Guess it really scared the hell out of everyone aware of the situation, especially management. Sorry about the inaccurate info earlier. | |

| BANNED | Nathan did not commit suicide. If he did, he washed his bloody hands off in the bathroom afterwards and got watered down blood everywhere... Quote:

| BANNED | A cp Leo? Not to be trusted. They wanted it to be a suicide. Never has there been a murder in cp, ever. They want to keep it that way. I can give you enough details to make you think otherwise. The blood for one. Then the blood outside. There's also the two recovered rounds that Chuck had to dig out of the ceiling and floor himself. Nate staggered his rounds. The one to kill him was the first round. One through his head and straight up into ceiling even though it was a temple shot. The other down throught the coffee table. When Chuck called the detectives over thanksgiving about the bullets, they told him "just pick them up and being them over". There was a girl involved... A very weird girl. |
