For all those going to the 1500 (Jan '09)

I know most of you don't know him and may not even heard about what happened, but there is a booth selling raffle tickets to help a firefighter that was struck by a semi on I74 near Jamestown. They are selling raffle tickets for $1 or 6 for $5, they are raffling off a shotgun (not sure of the brand) it was donated by a gun shop in Brownsburg. Anyway if ya have a couple of spare bucks toss em to them and try to win a shotgun. The booth is kind of in a weird spot in the main room (first one you walk in) there should be a Sparky the Fire dog nearby the entrance that can point you in their direction.

I have no affiliation with this deal I know what you now know about it.I have never met the guy that was hit nor am I on the fire department he is on, the guy that took my money knows my brother who is on a fire department near that one but I didn't know the people working the booth although one said he knew who I was.

Sounds like Premier Arms...I seem to remember there being a dog there..plus, there can't be too many shops in Brownsburg.

the dog and a firefighter were right inside the door when I got there yesterday at 5. Had my hands full and couldn't pull any money out but I'll try to make it over there today.

I gave them the last of my cash. I just had to help a fellow brother. The guys said that he was going to recover and was still in the hostipal
