If you hadn't heard about it already, if true it appears that Cuomo's Safe Act is going before a NY judge... Here's the excerpt

"Gov Cuomo has been ordered to court, to argue why a judge shouldn't proceed with an injunction on the unSAFE act: "Breaking News, live from Chautauqua Supreme Court.
The Hon. Deborah Chimes has signed an order against the State of New York and Governor Andrew Cuomo requiring Respondents to appear before the court on April 29th and provide good cause and reasons why the State should not be enjoined from enforcing any pnovision of the assault weapons ban.
This news was supposed to come yesterday, but due to schedule constraints had to wait until today"

If a 10 round ban passed muster on a constitutional challenge in NY...I don't know why a 7 round wouldn't either...unless the 'get rid of it in a year or less' is going too far.
