Place to shoot a rifle besides Don's around Indy

Is there anywhere "around" Indy where I can shoot a rifle besides the POS range at Don's? I went there once and never want to go back.

atterbury is open much farther south down 65 but dont know other options

I'm afraid the answer is no. I shoot at Wilbur Wright up North in New Castle. If someone can give me another option I'm all ears.

You have to know, or become a member, but i've shot at the Marion County Fish and Game Range (on the west side, just west of 465, south of 136) a couple of times and it was great every time.

I wouldn't go to dons. If you are looking to get shot it might be a good spot

doesn't MC restrict to .22? if you have a .22 you can always go to Eagle Creek and shoot w/o being, or knowing, a member.

No, I've shot 9mm, 40, and 45 (pistols). It is restricted to 22 if you are using rifles.
