  | The Atterbury shooting range was built with federal funds I was talking to a friend of mine that is in the know and he told me that the Atterbury shooting range built with federal funds and that the guy running it is a concessioner just like the people that put the coke machines in front of the rest areas along the highways. If you are upset by the prices and the way that you are treated by the staff then you need to file a complaint with the Indiana DNR and they will investigate the complaints. There are federal monies available to maintain the range so why does it cost so much to shoot there. The three shooting ranges that include Atterbury were built to increase shooting sports in Indiana and if they aren't being run in a way that promotes shooting sports in Indiana then they aren't being used for the purpose that they were built for. If you choose to file a complaint remember to be courteous.
