![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Be careful!!! So I am replacing a extractor spring on an old 10/22 and I didnt keep the plunger in place so of course it shot across the kitchen. Then it bounced off the wall and straight into the vent in the back of the stove. So... not having an extra plunger, I had to get the nutdriver and take the back off the stove and look with a flashlight till I finally found it. What a day. It was almost as bad as the barrel bushing incident on a 1911 a couple years ago. (Ill skip that one) |

| Expert | You wanna know a cool trick for changing the extractors on 10/22s, and Ruger Marks, plus whatever else has little, springy parts? Take a big gallon ziplock or oven bag, put the bolt in the bag, and change the parts inside the bag. When you have a parts explosion, the bag catches it. |
