![]() | WTF! I think ol' Kurz was very lucky to get out of there alive!

![]() | Typical media coverage...at 13 sec they show an SKS while talking about an AK47. That cop was shooting toward oncoming traffic, plus the prep was pretty indiscriminate, it could have easily resulted in an accidental shooting. Glad the cop wasn't hit and the prep was. A lucky outcome. |

![]() | If that perp had any tactical sense at all he would have done a lot more damage than he did. Staying in the car is what got him shot 3 times. The cop did a good job. He took cover the only place he could and obviously his return fire was effective. |

The guy is a loser, period. He deserves no respect whatsovever. It's too bad he wasn't put down, right then and there. Now the citizens have to pay for his trial and provide a jail for him.

![]() | Who said anything about respect? From a purely tactical point of view, if you're going to initiate a gun battle, you need to get out of the car! If anything, I respect the officer for getting rounds into the perp without sustaining any injury to himself. He was cool under pressure. Quote:
