Spring 08, Knob Creek CANCELLED

Just in case noone here had heard. They cancelled Spring 08 Knob Creek shoots, due to all the flooding current and expected.

First time in 30 years, a shame.

Hopefully be good for the Fall.

Wow that stinks! But I remember a few years ago how badly muddy the parking fields were, and it really didn't rain that much. I can imagine it's mostly a lake by now. Ah well, looks like I'll be there in the fall!

That's a shame, but not exactly shocking.
I haven't been in several years, but have never been there when the parking lot was not a muddy mess. It started out that way by raining in the days leading up to it, then it ALWAYS rained during the weekend. They used to have tractors circling around the lot, pulling people out.
With that history, and the rains pre-soaking everything, I'm not all that surprised. It wouldn't take much more than "normal" rains to do it.

as for knob creek it's better they cancel it for bad weather rather than for some political or legal reason.

I believe it is October 10,11,and 12

October is usually the "dust bowl", but i'll take that over water and mud anyday.
