need help asap about gunbroker

i found a gun with no bids and 27 minutes left. i know chances are someone will bid last second but i want to bid and cant figure out how.

im already registered but dont know how to bid. all i see in a buy it now button and a no reserve sign.


never mind i found the bid button. i was getting frantic.

also found out there is a minium bid of 1035 dollars

Anytime ANYONE makes a bid on GunBrokers, it triggers their "15 minute rule" Any bid extends the auction for 15 minutes. Subsequent bids extend an additional 15 minutes per bid.
Theoretically, this could go on forever!
Gives all a chance though.
A couple of other points to watch out for on GB.
Make sure you find out IN ADVANCE what the shipping charges are going to be. Lots of sellers say "buyer pays actual shipping" but don't say how much. Depending on the method THEY choose to ship, could mean tens of dollars difference in shipping.
Also pm seller with ANY questions BEFORE BIDDING! A bid is a binding contract on GB and they take them SERIOUSLY! Three "non-paying bids" gets you banned from the site.
One last piece of advice, CHECK ALL SELLERS FEEDBACK! Click on the feedback number beside their user name, and it will bring up a record of their feedback, telling you what others think of them. It will also show you the date they joined GB.

i was reading that. thats great for sellers because someone will say "whats 20 dollars more in the 15 minutes"

the gun i saw was a savage 12 f class rifle with no bids and no reserve there was only a buy it now. the reason there were no bids was the minium bid was the same as the buy it now.

someday ill luck into one but it doesn't appear to be today

Alway ask is it possible for the seller to ship USPS Priority Mail as that is usually the least expensive and only FFL to FFL is allowed. From my experience it is usually less than $20 including insurance. Large companies have special pricing thru UPS and FedEx but the small guy gets it up the wazoo. I have one distributor who charges less than $5 for the first handgun and if you buy two or more the shipping is free and the rest charge up to $22 so you need to shop around.
