Law enforcement steals $30 Million from citizens
After the big raid on poker players a while back, more info is coming involving the extremely shady practices undertaken by law enforcement.

The short story, local law enforcers in conjunction with the feds set up a fraudulent payment processing system. Citizens thought their money was going to poker sites, but in reality it was being deposited directly into an asset forfeiture fund. The brave men and women of law enforcement even had the courtesy to use some of the money to order a big gag check, hold a presser, and snap some photos for their adoring fans.

So I have to ask, what is worse for the public? The acts perpetuated by law enforcement, or a guy playing cards?

The kicker? The area "serviced" by these brave law enforcers just signed on to install a whole host of slot machines in a $1Billion casino project.

What is so troublesome about this situation is how close it mimics the business practices of the Mafia.

The Gambino Family (feds) send an emissary down to meet with the head of the Maryland Family (Arundel Police Department). He comes bearing a new business scheme. "You guys set up a fake site, collect the money, and we will let you keep 30%" Everybody gets rich, no one goes to jail. If anyone gives you flack, the Gambinos (feds) will have your back.

“This is huge,” Police Chief Col. James Teare Sr., said. “We just had a brutal budget round for the police department. We lost construction of our new Eastern District station building, the ability to replace vehicles, and more.”

im sure it was just an isolated incident involving one bad apple. everybody knows cops are all honest people who would never lie,steal,taze,shoot,beat,arrest or violate any other law.

This is just an absolute outrage! I don't know how or when, but with this type of garbage being perpetrated by so called "law enforcement", is eventually going to be their own undoing. If there is a God, or supreme being, or just plain old karma, every slimy criminal involved in these "forfeitures and seizures" of Americans money and property will get what they have coming.

prostetution is illegal, weed is illegal, alcohol is regulated and taxed heavily, our 2nd amendment rights are being infringed daily. gambling is illegal unless the govt can get their cut. police are militarizing and in time will be shacking up in our homes, why do we even call this America anymore?
