I ask my parents, grandmother, sister, brother-in-law, cousin-in-law, father-in-law, and 3 people are church the following.

a) Did you hear about the state of Oregon sending out a letter to an elderly that said they could not pay for treatment but instead would pay for suicide it was on Fox News this week.

Everyone said no and everyone said I was making it up.

b) Did you hear about what Congress is proposing in the health bill on everyone having health insurance, you not being able to keep your health care if it changes, and how the government will say what treatments you can get not get.

My kid sister said she hear about it only because I send her the emails this week and she thinks it <<insert bad words>>.

Everyone else said they did not know the details but hear that it will give all america's insurance which is a good thing.

My -in-law said that she does not believe that they won't deny you treatment because that would be wrong and that I am over exatergatting the news.

I then pulled out the article from Fox News and still after reading it my in-law said this was an isolated thing and most likely a mistake. Everyone else (expect kid sister that read it online) just glanced at it but did not comment. They said it won't happen here.


So SE the point is the sheep DO NOT care and even if you show them proof they still DO NOT care. Or perhaps they have been so programed that even when the proof is shown they can not begin to understand or think for themselves to try and understand what is happening.

Therefore the question I have been asking myself. Which is worse I6BO or those that voted him in I think I have answered to myself.

I'm so down right now. It pointless to scream at the top of your lungs, show the world the truth when the world is not willing to accept or understand it.

Thanks for the buzz kill. LoL Either way it's time to wake up America. Let them pass this crap bill. Once they are turned away for a kidney transplant once or twice, or their child is sent away with tylenol for a shattered kneecap, maybe then they will wake up. I hope it doesn't come to that. Then our fears will become reality.

Tried to explain some of that stuff to my wife tonight, she said it would not be legal. Tried to explain to her that laws can be changed if the wrong people were in charge. Conversation stopped when I reminded here that it was not illegal for Nazi's to round up Jews and exterminate them. Hmmmmmm!

Your welcome SE. Won't matter if the sheep wake up **AFTER** this is passed. By that point it will be too late. The good news is that Congress is going on summer break **WITHOUT** passing this so we have several months to prepare for the next battle. And this has been a good fight so far because it has shown us 1 thing. I6BO is not a "god". Had he been a '"god" this would have passed. As it stands now some sheep are beginning to like I6BO less and less and he has spent a lot of political capatial on a topic and has nothing to show for it so the Rs see his weakness and just maybe might turn the tides against him.

Inpls one also covers Sen Lugar's office - and follows with a march to the Circle.

Bring your signs, come sign the petitions, stand up and be heard.

ENOUGH!

One time - even twenty times won't do it. We're not holding these rallies for the politicians (we do hope they notice them, though) these are to get people to start to wake up.

Take a look at Obama's poll numbers... it's happening. If we relax, that will turn around.

We're going with election day 2010 as our first objective. Good candidates are popping up. In the next few months we'll have some good names we can start to rally behind, and help them get their message out.

Until then, we rally, we protest to keep the pressure on the progressives in DC and make them aware that we are here, and we don't like what they are doing to our country.

I just can't come. I can make it there by MAYBE 530, but that's if the FEMA people haven't set up roadblocks, checkpoints, and random searches...

Well 48 hours later and still no reply from Lugar or Bayh. Guess they don't like it when people send them emails about losing votes? Hopefully we will have some better candidates in upcoming elections. These two don't need to go back to DC they need to retire . On the other hand can we ban politicians? Just a thought......
