Well said. Those words read like they come from a man principled in liberty.

This may sound corny to some, but not everyone can come to terms with personal liberty. It isn't perfect, can be scary, and often times leaves a man feeling alone. Discovering; understanding liberty can be both a blessing and a curse. It often leaves you on an ideological island looking out towards the RvD shell game with little to no support. You see agendas being pushed for security, safety, "the children, the poor, the rich...but no one in government ever thinks of advancing liberty.

Again, it is like 2001 all over again. What you said, backed with a video from nutjob left wing students acting like jerks reminds me, again, of 2001 when Dems were posting movies of the florida protesters that helped shut down the endless recounts. They too claimed a unique threat to democracy that only one party could solve and that was based solely in the other evil party.

Call that moral equivalency if you will, I call it being tired of partisan hackery.

I will once again refer to the threads right before election day when people begged the third party folks to vote Republican "just this time" and after the election we would have a meeting of minds and work to repair the Republican party so that libertarians and other third party folks would not have to vote under threat of "the horsemen of the apocalypse" if we did not go Republican.

And here we are many, many months later and what I hear is that the Republicans are right because at least they are not the anti-christ backed by legions of communist college students who are ready to go Cuba style at any moment.

Guys, please, it is old, tired, and dead.

There never will be, never can be, and never should be a single party that will carry us all to the nirvana we desire. Not even if it is Republican.

Vote for liberty and focus on the Constitution. And don't let party loyalty, or party fear dictate you.
