![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | About half the stuff that you can't sell, is crap from Walmart. I say, let the Asian countries keep their stuff and poison their own. Americans can make our own and not have to worry about whats in the paint, or how the eyes are attached, products would say "Made in America" not just sold to America! Don

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I may be wrong, but I think the point is this is another astonishing intrusion into our private lives? We're approaching the threshold of a society where it will be impossible to go about the ordinary daily pursuits of life without being in violation of the law. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I guess I can see that point... sort of... I've just always presumed that if I sold a product I was assuming some degree of liability for the safety of said product. i.e. I won't be selling old toys with lead in them, because I know they are dangerous and I'm not an SOB. I also suppose that if a product has been recalled, I could always return it for a new version or refund instead of selling the dangerous one... but that's just me. Also... I haven't read the actual law or regulation, but the article is primarily talking about public transactions (even church bazars and yard sales are public), so it seems a bit of a stretch to call this a privacy issue. |
