This better not be what we have to look forward to. Having to be of age to buy a spoon. Just for this I think I'll sharpen a couple spoons and keep them in the back of the drawer.

Just searched a little to see how people over in UK were reacting to this story. They all seemed to agree it was an error in the computer. Claimed it rang the spoon up as cutlery. Nobody mentioned how idiotic it was that they had to be at least 18 to buy a knife. They've just given up, it's sad.

Gonna guess that now some ***hat will look for a way to actually make it illegal for anyone under 18 to buy a spoon. Why not? The UK forum people were saying how different movies used spoons for violence, plus certain drugs require the use of a spoon. Think I saw in a movie where they used foil for drug use. So much for the hats.
