AWESOME! I couldn't be happier, a master stroke for McCain! Obama flaps his gums about change and McCain brings it! Obama chose a Washington insider and McCain grabs a Conservative WOMAN! Hell Yeah! NRA LIFE MEMBER too! Finally a bright spot in this all too depressing campaign. To me it was John McCain's biggest duty to find a VP who could lead us back to Conservative Policy in 2112 and he does it with a woman of character. Excellent. Oops, looks like this story took the lead to Obama's big speech, on three major networks, at noon. Brilliant planning and pick prior to the labor day weekend and the R convention next week.

Not the first. Walter Mondale chose Geraldine Ferraro as his running mate. Of course, they got thoroughly spanked by Ronald Reagan and Bush (41), but she did have a chance. Facing Obamalamadingdong, I think perhaps Ms. Palin just might take the office, and if my thoughts regarding McCain's age are accurate, she just may be the first woman sworn in as President.

I know only what I've read on here about Ms. Palin, so I'll reserve further comment until I read more, but I'm pleased with what I've seen to this point.
