    Visited Tophat45 yesterday to use his drill press for one of my cannon projects and while I was there he showed me how he made a neat tool for the nut that holds the action arms onto the forend.

    He had just cut down and ported one of his shotgun barrels.



    and that left him with a section of leftover barrel



    Cut a grove into the end and weld a square (can be round also) piece of 1/16th inch steel





    then put a nut on the end of a stainless steel rod



    and you end up with a complete tool that probably works better and looks better than a factory tool
