![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Plastic Gun Has a Spell on Me That cursed Glock has cast a spell on me. I love my 1911's and up until the department went to Glock 23's I carried my Colt Commander while off-duty Even though at the time we carried P229's. Now I find myself going to the safe and picking up my personal mod 23. I guess I pick up the plastic gun because I figure 14 rounds of the .40 beat 8 rounds of the .45ACP. Anyway I can get by with one mag as well. For giggles the plastic wonder's a little lighter to lug around as well. Honestly I didn't think anything would replace that big iron, but it has to some extent. Anyone else fall victim to the polymer hand cannon? Forgive me Sam Colt for I have fallen victim to the broad road and left that of the straight and narrow. I promise to lift the 1911 to hip level and let it escort me about the county within the week. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Why not get a plastic 1911? CharlesDaly.com - Daly M-5 Polymer 1911 Hi-Cap Pistols ![]() The gun comes in 3 sizes (Government, Commander and Officers) The Bul M5 is a poly framed 1911 pistol, make in Israel to very high quality standards. If you are already familiar with the 1911, already comfortable with them, and your muscle memory over the past years has adapted to the 1911, then stick with it but get a poly framed double stack high capacity 1911. The Bul M5 is being imported and sold under the trade name Charles Daly M5 currently, it had previously been imported under the name Bul. Both are the same. ![]() |

I'm actually picking up one of the M5 Ultra X pistols in 9mm as soon as they are available (the website says they are available, but as of yet the 9mm version has not cleared the BATF for importation). | |
