![]() | So, as well as a .357 revolver, I'm considering purchasing a .45 pistol sometime. Local shop has a Llama .45 for sale, but I'd like to know from someone who has the knowledge whether or not these are worth the buy, as far as durability, accuracy and such. Anyone out there know? ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I have a foreman here at work that has a Llama 45 and he acts like it is not that great of a gun. I have no experience with them so I can not comment. I will suggest that as long as you buy quality guns you can usually get your money back out of them when you buy right. A good gun will always have a market. If it were me and I could afford to, I would stick with well known brands. There are many that make 1911 style pistols that are considered to be better than Llama. |

In some models the parts are not readily interchangeable. My Llama Officer model I sold for under $100 just to get rid of it. Get a Rock Island or a Taurus instead. |

I agree. You might look for a used Springfield, also.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Of course I don't have thousands of rounds thru mine either (probaly less than 1,000). So time will tell. I bought the gun about 9 years ago. |
