I had to look up my conversion table to see what caliber this would be if it were a caliber measurement - 55 caliber. :rockwoot: Depending on the downrange performance of the slugs, this could possibly fill the role of an anything on 2 or 4 legs or close range in the air in North America pistol.

i think ill wait a couple years till the 20 ga comes out.

ofcource a couple years later you will see the 16ga version.

then a few years later the 12 ga version will hit the shelves

followed by the 10 ga version, then the 8 then finally the 4 bore will rule all

I got that email earlier today too. The concept is great, I just don't think it will take off like the 45/410 Judge did. With no buckshot or slugs out for it yet it that may hold back sales.

Not surprised ATF had a cow over a 28 ga revolver since they think any firearm that fires a round larger than .500 inches violates their interpretation of the constitution.

Just checked the ATF website and couldn't find anything related to the new Taurus. That doesn't mean it hasn't been posted yet.

As for a 28Ga revolver, it would have to have a rifled barrel, otherwise it would be a short barrel shotgun and need to be registered under the 1934 NFA addition to the second amendment.

Ya it looks like Taurus could be in some deep water over this one........ A shame, but I cant believe they didn't get it approved BEFORE they put it on display at SHOT. Dang, I have to say I was looking forward to seeing this sucker in real life!
