Me and my wife were married by a judge. Cost $40. I used to tell her she had to do what I said because I bought her for $40.

She ended up costing me a lot more than that in bail, fines, sanity, divorce, etc. Wasn't nearly the bargain I'd figured.

Keep telling my old lady(and I call her that when she's around), I traded my fine white gravy bowl to her mom for her. I bought that fine white piece of china for .50 in a garage sale. During the trade her mother said...and I quote....she will love honor and obey.
So far I got none of the honor and obey and I keep asking her wheres the love??
Buut I did train her to mow the yard, I keep her in a supply of beer, she mows most readily. Took me 8 yrs to get her trained, and now I haven't mowed a blade of grass in 3 yrs now.

One time awhile back I asked my mother in law if I could have my gravy bowl back.....my father in law heard my question, he started snickering from his chair watching a football game. All I got from my mother in law was a stare that scared the bejesus out of me.......That was 10 yrs ago and I've never asked again.
