![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | GSG-5P Range Report Well, I had a little extra time to take my new GSG-5P out to the range this afternoon and put some rounds through it. It was a lot of fun! The GSG-5P is the pistol version of the very popular GSG-5 rifle. These are all .22lr knock-offs of the famous H&K MP5. I put about 200 rounds through my GSG-5P without a hiccup. I have two 22-rounds mags and one 10-round mag. All the magazines were easy to load. I'd love to get my hands on some more 22 rounders - they are just hard to find right now. The pistol was easy to shoot and I could hold a reasonably good group at 25 yards using the iron sights. I'm going to be adding a rail and red dot in the near future. I was surprised how accurate this pistol was. I have not broken it down to clean it yet, so I have not seen the internals yet. But, the gun really feels like it is well made. My only complaint is that the magazine release is too far for my short fingers to comfortably reach. I put some Federal High Velocity and green box Remington through it. I left with a huge smile on my face. This is one fun gun -- and you can shoot it for just a few $$ since the ammo is cheap. I'm very happy with this purchase. Here is the GSG-5P along with my G22 at the range today. ![]() ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Congrats!I love mine, now that it works.. I had FTF/Stovepipe from the get go, a 3 week trip back to ATI, for a new bolt carrier half with a riveted ejector and a few replaced trigger parts and she shoots like a dream. If you haven't yet, check out the GSG section over at ar15.com.. If you weed through the dumbass kids BS they have some great info.. A little Loc-Tite and some new hardware will save you some grief in the future. They also have some good pics/tuturiol for full teardown and assembly. Have fun.. ![]()

Got them for $30. I've seen them listed everywhere from $25 to $50. The mags are REALLY hard to find right now. The pistol and rifle use the same mags. You can get them in 10, 15 or 22 rounds. | |

| Hoosier Daddy! ![]() | reason I ask is tonight as was at my local GM, and they have 5 of the 22 round magazines in stock. Ive never seen a GSG-5 anything there, which is probably why they still have them. They are $39 each though.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Looks like you wre at Sugar Ridge? May I ask if you bought this at Strickly? I was in there the other evening and a guy (maybe you) was buying one of these. I was milling around waiting for some friends to arrive and shoot on the range.
