I have not done anything with either of mine. I've had the 40 sub since 2004 and carry it pretty much every day. I might get a trigger job one day, but probably not. Night sights maybe. More magazines is a good upgrade. A good holster. Doesn't really need anything.

XD45C carried several years now and the only aftermarket stuff I have bought was a holster and a couple of accessory kits that contained extra mags and mag holsters.

I have hundreds of rounds with not problems at all.

You need to buy extra mags and more extra mags right now. Then buy ammo, and more ammo. The upgrades can come later when our new nation is formed b/c of 'change'.

Well I took my new XD9 to the range today and was greatly impressed.
Very easy to handle. Although the reset of the trigger is not as nice as a Glock, I like the overall feel of the trigger better. Great sight picture. Very little felt recoil. I fell in love with this pistol.
I was so impressed I took it straight to the department range and qualified with it for my off duty carry.
So Far love this weapon!

My XD .40 is bone stock, and I love it. Just bought a good holster, and some carry ammo. Night sights are nice. But the chances of you drawing on someone, and actualy having time to aim are pretty slim. I personaly would use that extra money, and buy ammo to practice.
