Thanks for the help guys it is grealty appreciated, I have decided to purchase a Ruger LCP and the XD sub compact, now its the question of which sub compact caliber to go for

Just make sure it starts with a 4.

Consider a 5 shot revolver w/Barami grips. I'm small framed and this combo has worked fine for many years.

Already working on the revolers lol, I might go with a subcompact .45 sounds good now just need to look at prices and compare thanks for all your help guys, it is grealty appreciated.

I've got a Kahr PM9 that lives in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. Conceals great and is fairly easy to draw.

I also was looking at this model, prices were decent and the design is great. Where did you purchase the holster?

any sub compact revolver in 38 spl would be a good choice very reliable

Subcompact as in the Glock 30? Springfield doesn't make a 45 in subcompact, only compact (4" barrel, shortened grip). Both could be easily concealed in the right holster, and either choice is a good one. You may want to get the owner's permission to carry in writing, with his signature, since the company policy says no weapons in the building. It must be nice to have an employer that allows carrying
