I tend to agree with him. I've tried many guns, love my 1911s and won't give them up. But next in line is the CZ 75 with the frame mounted safety (they do make De-Cocker versions, those are not as highly favored for carry as the original configuration with the frame mounted safety). The controls are virtually identical to the 1911, the gun can be carried in SA mode with the gun 'cocked and locked', and the accuracy of the CZ 75 is proven to be astounding. What is not to like? |

Don't let everyone know or these babies are going to be selling for over 1K. What can you say about an extremely reliable, extremely accurate, extremely attractive, extremely durable handgun with great ergonomics for a reasonable price. These would be great guns at twice the price. Excuse me, what I meant was, who would want some Czech piece of crap? |

Unfortunately the 2 I own are from the days of the Evil Empire when Russia controled the Czechs and they could not be imported into the US directly. If you owned a CZ back in the mid 80s you were very lucky, well except they cost $800-$1000 then! I have an original CZ and one of the rare "Tropical" versions. Both non import marked and absolutely perfect. Try the .22 conversion unit. It works much better than my Colt conversion unit. I'd love to get a CZ 83 next. The CZ 452 .22 line of rifles are equally amazing. I shot my CZ 452 Lux just as well as my buddy with his custom built Kimber the other day. I want a 452 Varmit next. Maybe I'll try to trade my Trainer off for one. Man I talk to much..... LOL. ![]() |
