If the latter, is it single or double-stack, and .380 or 9x18? What kind of grips? Overall condition? All these things will factor into its value. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Military or commercial... Easy way to tell is if it has fixed rear sights = military. Adjustable = commercial. Military versions are always going to bring a higher price than commercial, given equal condition. The above may not ALWAYS be true, but the rear sight is a BIG indicator of which version. -J-

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For what it is worth - keep it! A dealer will not give you the value for your Mak, most don't understand the positive aspects of the Mak and lastly, you will hate yourself for getting rid of it. The 9x18 (if that is what you have - they come in .380) is a good round. It fits between the .380 (9x17) and the true 9mm (9x19). There are probably others more qualified to discuss the ballistics than I. Well cared for, they will give you a lot of bang for your buck. Below is a picture of my two. The Russian is on the left - seracoated and with wood grips and my East German is on the right (also with wood). ![]() |

![]() | I like those wood grips. Where'd you get them? I have the original grips and some aftermarket rubber ones. I snagged both of mine up pretty cheap. $125 - $175 range several years ago though.
