Glock 19 or Springfield xdm 9

So I was looking for some opinions. I am buying a new pistol and have it narrowed down to between the glock and the springfield xdm. I am wanting this for a C&C. Any thoughts?

Glock 19... wont go into the xd vs. glock thing since you are new and want to take your post seriously... both are fine guns.... my reccomendation is the g19

that said... shoot them both... or at least hold them both, and get the one that fits YOU and YOU ONLY the best.... thats the gun you should get... neither one will really outperform the other.

I carry an XD but I wouldn't hesitate to carry a G19. For me, the XD fits my hand better. Do a quick search on INGO and you'll find several dozen threads on this exact topic.

The XD9 and Glock 19 are similiar in size and price, but the xdm 9 is a little big for concealment.

Meh. I'm not a big fan of the XDm. The grip is uncomfortable to me.

Honest opinion, I would not own a Glock if someone gave it to me. My father owns an XDm 9mm. With the right IWB holster you can conceal it easily. My

You don't conceal an XDm. That's what you do to a Glock.

Both are good guns but I feel the XDm has better pointabilty and is more comfortable. As far as concealment this is my XDM40 in a DM Bullard Dual Carry
