There is a gun in the classifieds thats NIB.

The seller is asking $100 over msrp, why would anyone pay that
    unless they arent legal???

My guess someone didnt shop around when they originally bought it and realized they overpaid and now trying to recoup as much $$ as they can

    Availability?

Not sure what you're talking about, but I have an 1884 Marlin .44mag lever gun that I paid just at $400 for new.
Right now they are selling on GunBroker for $700 USED!

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

My dad always told me something is "worth" what you can get someone to give you for it. What YOU paid for it is irrelevant.
If I had a nickle and I talked someone into giving me a dollar for it, what is it really worth?
Is it worth the nickle it says it is on the face, or the dollar someone paid for it?

    "Worth" is a relative term.

wow ok lets try this, he's asking 100.00 over msrp...if you want it...buy it....if you don't want it ...dont buy it! simple!!!

i paid 150.00 over msrp for a pmr30, i wanted it, so i bought it!, you have the same option...free trade is free trade!

no one is holding a gun to your head and making you pay for it!

god forbid you see a keltec ksg on gunbroker (they sell for 1500.00 thats twice msrp)

I think I know which one you are talking about, and after seeing the seller asking more than MSRP, I figured he paid MSRP plus tax and is trying to recoup the total cost.

Or the seller bought during the panic, paid over MSRP just because they had to have the firearm, and now has buyer's remorse.

Either way, I laughed and moved on. ;)

A lot of lines read between in this thread. Maybe it's a complaint. Maybe it's just asking who would pay that. Maybe something in between.
