    I'm just looking to start a list of
    Steel/alum frame (Non-polymer), non-1911 pistols (not revolvers)

    EDIT to add: this wasn't as clear at first, sorry for any confusion.

    ..I'll start
    CZ 75 (and clones)
    Cz 97
    S&w 5906 (and similar)
    Browning high power
    Sig P226/228/229 etc (I think, correct me if they are polymer)
    Beretta 92 series

    What else?? (I know there's a bunch, but I'm not thinking of any others right now)

    I really don't have much experience with non-polymer and non 1911's, But I really like my Sig p238 and Sig P6 (especially for the price I paid)

    sig 226 my wife loves her 220 stainless elite as a carry piece.
    92fs beretta (don't tell anyone but the taurus pt92 fits my hands better safety reasons and it was built on same machinery but Brazil.
    Cz75 p07 esp
    last but not least savage pistol line I still think there a lost gem buy them while you can.
