I know right before the recall all I heard was great things about the XDS 45s. Since then I have read mixed reviews on the triggers and just wondered if some of you have shot or purchased after the recall and your thoughts on the triggers and all around performance. Thanks:ar15:

They are gritty, somewhat mushy. I would say no worse than a glock trigger.

    :+1:

You would not like the trigger for bullseye shooting or bragging rights, for close range self defense it is better than some (Kahr , Ruger LCP) and likely not as good as others, but ok.
    In my opinion.
Probably powder river precision makes a trigger kit for it, or I think you can buy a juiced up version from Springfield's custom shop.

Would buying from the Springfield's custom shop void the warranty ?

Just didn't know if they would consider that altering your gun. But thanks for the info on yours, seems like a lot of people once they got there's back from Springfield complained about the triggers but then again some people love to complain! LOL.

Having springfield work on it should not void the warranty, but for what the gun is and what it was designed for, the trigger isn't that bad.

Almost bought the XDS 45 and once I decided to they were recalled. LOL. Since then have purchased several different guns but still thinking on the XDS. Where is the best place for the PRP kits? Thanks
