New Ruger LC9S

Just announced today...

The LC9s is a striker-fired version of the award winning LC9 pistol. It features a short, light, crisp trigger pull for faster shooting and improved accuracy. The LC9s provides slim, lightweight and compact 9mm Luger protection with a blued steel slide, a high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame, aggressive checkering and an easily acquired 3-dot sight system. The LC9s fits all LC9 accessories and holsters and is just slightly larger (less than 1'' in both height and length) than the popular Ruger LCP.

So that is why I just got a deal on a LC9. I am torn on this as the trigger is awful long, but it serves its purpose and I can still put shots on center mass at short distances.

Why couldn't they have announced this two days ago? I just picked up an LC9 and my only issue with it is the trigger pull length. Oh well, I will give it some time to let them work out the kinks and then trade up

Shot a buddys LC9 and I hated that trigger....but my EDC is a PT709 and some hate that one too so there ya go!!

Sounds like a good idea. I wait to see how well it works after Ruger recalls the guns and then puts out the finished product.

I just looked on Ruger's website and didn't see it. Normally, they put it on there when they make a new announcement. Anyone know where there's info on it?

Never saw any difference in the Ruger LC9 and the Kel-Tec PF9, if the trigger is as advertised I just might make a change, though I am happy with the PF9.

I owned an LC9 and just couldn't get into the trigger but my girlfriend loved it! Would have to give it some time and see what others had to say!
