Since we've been talking alot about CZ 75's.......

I traded for an SP-01 Tactical 9mm today. Yes, I drank the and I like it. shot it this evening at sgreen3's range. Wow, sweet shooter. Never shot one before. It's a keeper for sure. Not sure why anyone would want a 1911 in 9mm when you can just buy a 75B. It felt like I was shooting one of my 1911s only a tad wider grip

I love 1911s, but just don't care much for the 1911 in 9mm. To each, his own though. When I carry a 1911, it needs to have a manly .45 caliber round on board. When I carry a 9mm pistol, I want a lot of those teeny weeny bullets on board. 8 of those earth shattering .45 caliber bullets is probably way too many but I'm only comfortable with 17 or more of those little bullets.

This time of year is bad for me. House insurance is due, fall taxes coming up, and vehicle tags due in November. Then Christmas. If it weren't for all that I'd already have ordered a race hammer, trigger, disco, and springs from cajun gun works. The SA trigger isn't too bad but I want it to be point and click with no take up or creep

I've got a matte stainless 75B in 9mm and it is 1 of the 2 best shooting handguns I own.
The other is a Sig P-220 Elite Stainless in 45 ACP

I also have a 9mm P-01

I will own an SP-01 Tactical next.

I'm still thirsty... B^)

The more I shoot my CZ the more I fall in love with the thing. I finally understand what is meant when people say the gun shoots a lot better than them. I've not met a gun that I did not like, but other than the PPQ, I've never used the "L" word.

Here's my new to me CZ 75 Tactical Sport. Previous owner had Shay at Akai Custom Guns work his magic on the gun. Front F/O sight added, trigger job, race hammer, slide cuts, butler cut on the frame, grip reduction, and raised front and back strap. Frame is Black Ion Bond and Slide is Gold Ion Bond. I added CZ Custom extended magazine base pads and magazine springs/followers kits. I will be shooting this next season in USPSA Limited Division.

I think with most of them having longer/full length dustcovers that they tend to have less muzzle flip than other guns of similar caliber (I noticed it with my 75 clone and 97b both)
