They only were behind about 3 years on making a compact carry gun. I'm patiently waiting for the 45 compact still, then I'll be a buyer

Ok, I was beginning to think this long-standing talk about an FN Compact was an urban legend. I had looked on their website a month or so ago after hearing these rumors, and now I see from the link above that they're finally becoming a reality!

Really, really interested in checking these out!

It's awesome that they're sticking with 3 mags per pistol, and that one of them is a 17 rounder.

Now I have to decide: Long Slide or Compact first?

High Plains gun store (or whatever you call it) had them or sale a few weeks ago (around Black Friday) for $500. I thought it very strange because they weren't even on FNH's website yet.
