Does anyone have one of the new Ruger Single-Seven revolvers? If so, what do you think of it? Supposed to fire 327 Federal Mag, 32 H&R Mag, 32 S&W, 32 S&W Long and 32 ACP...
    Thanks!

I HAVE ONE AND I LOVE IT. IT DOES FIRE ALL OF THOSE CALIBER EXCEPT THE 32ACP I CANNOT SAY I'VE TRIED. IT SHOTS AS NICE AS ANY OTHER RUGER SA PLUS I LOVE THE 327FM ROUND COMPLETELY.

Why, yes, I do have one. 4 5/8" barrel. Shoots all the .32 rounds. Tames the hot .327s down to reasonable level, compared to my wife's ultralite Taurus with a 2" barrel. I think it's a hoot to shoot, fast becoming my favorite gun. The .32 S&W is a centerfire .22 round. Works great for beginners. I plan on reloading for mine.

Even tho it is a single action, I don't think of it as a "cowboy gun". I have a jack Weigand base on order, and when it arrives I will be mounting a Burris FastFire III on it.

Thanks for the image and info guys! I love SA revolvers and I have a Single-Six and a Bearcat. This will most likely be my next gun.

I went ahead and ordered one after reading what little info I could find online. Plenty info on the ammo it fires, just not too much on the gun itself. Guess it is still pretty new.

Mine will be for shooting targets, cans and action figures purchased at Goodwill. I think that's justification enough to get it...

THey made a 7-shot gp100 (SA/DA), and a 6-shot sp101 in this caliber also, but they pulled it from production last year.
I was really looking forward to trying one of those out

I read that there are a lot of problems with this model, but every thing seems to be exaggerated on the internet. Any of the guys who own one have any issues with theirs?

Only sorta-kinda non-issue I have with mine is that the cylinder lock point for loading is not aligned with the loading cut out. If I turn the cylinder until I hear the click, I cannot insert or remove a round. More just getting used to how it is than anything. No problems of any other sort.

I did make it easier for me to shoot. Still haven't got used to wearing glasses, and bifocals don't mix well with iron sights, so I did this...

    How Ruger shipped it...

    With a Burris FastFire III...

Now to find the right day to get it sighted in.

Looks like you got the shortest barrel for yours. Looks good, though the sight sorta ruins things. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do though and my eyes aren't the best these days either. So far they are good enough to shoot without adding anything to them though bot only just. :)

Isn't the ammo hard to find and expensive? I sold a LNIB older SW .32 3" barrel revolver with 99.9% bluing. I loved the gun but while fun to shoot could not justify shooting it over my 4" SW 617 .22 revolver which is just as fun and much cheaper. I would have kept the gun if ammo was easier to find and cheaper.

327 Mag is easy to find, price is similar if not a bit cheaper than 357. It's just not something that all shops will carry

Ultramax 32 H&R is about the same price, and Fiocchi makes some fairly inexpensive 32 S&W longs

Picked mine up yesterday and I love it! I shot 32 Auto, 32 S&W, 32 S&W Long and 32 H&R Magnum. I don't have any 327 Fed Mag yet. Everything was very accurate and recoil was almost nonexistent. I have it pictured with my Single-Six 22/22 Mag. BTW, I will definitely get the hi-viz front sight for it as well. They are awesome for my aging eyes.

Wish I had the $$$ for two. I only have the one pictured here easier. The ammo, 327FM is esy to reload ad that is where I get mine. Starline does have the brass and t is great brass like all the brass they make so I get a lot of loadings from each piece too. Not a lot of "Official" load data but you can work your own up from what there is if you are careful and know what you are doing.
