I've been browsing the Armscor website this morning and am finding some interesting stuff. I did not know they have a double stack 1911 in 10mm out. I'm not a big fan of the double stack 1911s since I don't thing the grip design translates to a double stack that well, but if it brings 16+1 rounds of 10mm to the table, I might have to get used to it. Has anyone had a chance to shoot one of these yet?

I know the Para P14-45 is a fat sumbeast. Same basic size. I wear a medium Mechanix glove ( for reference ), wide hands, short fingers. The 1911 fits me perfectly. The double stack 1911s are just too big for my hand without SLIM grip panels, but even then my pinky feels unsecure. The FNX 45 with a flat backstrap is a perfect fit though (go figure). The Glock 20/21 non- SF ( or SF for that matter ) are also on the "wee bit too big" side.
