I have a Gen 4 G19 and I can not for the life of me get the pin that holds the back strap in once I add one of the back straps. Has anyone had this issue??

    Ha ha. Unfortunately yes.

Everything has to be lined up just perfectly for it to fit back in.

Last time I did it, it took me close to 30 minutes of trying to get the pin back in. Keep at it you'll get it eventually.

I just recently figured out that the back straps come with a longer pin that is attached to the holder they ship in. Made it way easier.

They come with the correct sized "punch" on the thing that holds all the backstraps in the box, as well as a place on it that holds the longer pin for the backstraps. Best way to align it is with the tool still inserted, push out the tool with the longer pin used for the backstrap.
