Kimber Custom ll two tone

A local shop has these for $699. How does the Kimber compare to say a Springfield RO, quality wise, and is this a good price? Thanks.

It's not a bad price. You can find them online for that price or a little better all day. I can't speak to the quality of the Kimber, but I did have a Springer RO for a short time and it was an excellent gun. I can't imagine you'll be disappointed by either of them.

The Kimber Custom II is Kimbers entry level pistol. That being said this was the pistol that Clark Custom was using for their 460 Rowland conversion guns they used to sell maybe still do. Great guns and I have not seen that price on one for a couple years. compares favorably to the RO
I would buy it.

Not bad for a gun store. I found one at the 1500 Gun show for 600.00 with night sights. Kimbers are great guns but just do not retain the value like other makes like colt and Springfield.
