IIRC, the 5" variant also includes the barrel to change it to the 3.4", which is why it's $100 more.

I was just looking into that, as whenever they're listed for sale as used they almost always seem to be sold with both barrels. That would make sense, I was wondering about the $100 surcharge for a little longer barrel.

I have posted my results on another thread. I got mine used and have had alot of FTF with bulk ammo. What I do is put 8 rnds of bulk ammo in the mag topped off with 2 CCI's. Don't know why but it then will shoot the whole mag without a problem... It is a fun gun and found it to be quite accurate. I can hit what I'm aiming at 20-25 yards. I really like it!

When I bought one in February I called over a dozen places and Guns & Ordnance in rural Martinsville had the best price. Good service, and this little shopped is filled to the gills with gear and accessories. I was pleasantly surprised, will gladly do more business there in the future.

Just an FYI Gander Mountain has the third gen mags in stock(Greenwood).Think they where 18.99,but do not remember exactly as I was looking at multiple mags.

Yep. Brand new as of last Wednesday. Bought from Fort Liberty in Avon for $319. Haven't been to Plainfield yet, but may hit them up for a spare mag and hotter ammo.

I'll pick up some CCI's, and give them a shot (pun intended). My wife will be using this in her NRA Basic Pistol class in a few weeks, so I'd like to reduce the issues by then.

Beech Grove was going to be my next suggestion, I figured their prices wouldn't be too far off from PSS's. How much were they out in "Guns & Ordnance in rural Martinsville"? What did you end up spending out the door if you don't mind my asking?
