 | Target pistol suggestions I've decided I want to buy a centerfire pistol solely for target use. I'm looking for suggestions and hopefully owners too. I'm looking for a steel frame, not interested in Glocks sorry, in 9mm or 45acp. I'm not going to limit anything price wise yet, it is a choice I will make when the time comes. My only quirk is it must be easily obtainable, so a Sig 210 maybe out of the running. So far I have the Sig X-Five and a Les Baer with the 1.5" in mind, any other good choices I'm over looking? I'm more of a traditional "carry" pistol type of buyer so anything target is foreign to me. |

| As a heads up, Bradis has a used Springfield Target Match 1911 that they are asking $850 for. It needs some cosmetic TLC but would probably make a very good target pistol. They also have a new one for $1250. The used one is on a barrel rack with several other pistols, so it is not easily noticed. I have been debating between it and a 1911 Loaded that they have. If you buy the Target Match the debate would be over! LOL |
