Hawaii DPS Goes With SIG320

Hawaii Department of Public Safety goes with SIG and orders 700 SIG320 (9mm) pistols. HDPS also goes with SIG ammo.

Glock 17 & 19's would have been a better choice IMHO, but I'm a Glock guy
Hopefully the 320 is up to the challenge and serves them well.
Looks like they did a deal for Sig ammo as well, so I'm sure that has something to do with their choice.

Yes the Sig 320 is a awesome choice and a great shooter, it's place is right beside my Glock 19 and they get along just fine. Lol

The only Sig ammo I have tried is some 10mm fmj. It seemed good quality and had more oomph than most other 10mm practice ammo.

Too bad they destroyed several hundred thousand dollars worth of their old pistols (so they didn't end up in criminals hands).
