Glock 21 or 21SF?

Just curious is there much difference in the two? Own several Glocks and considering picking up the 21 just havent shot one of the short frame models.

As I understand it, the Gen 3 SF is the frame size as the Gen 4.

I encourage you to go to a shop and hold a G21. I have one and I really like it but the grip is about as big as any gun I've ever held. My hands are large enough that it's not a problem at all but others have trouble holding it. Too look at it, the SF appears identical but when you hold it you will feel the difference.

All of my large frame Glocks have been in the SF frame. The standard large frame Glocks don't feel good to me, but the SF frames fit my hands (medium glove sized) pretty well.

Buy a Gen4; no backstrap it's an SF, small back strap it's standard sized, large back strap is even bigger.

I have a Glock 20SF and love it's feel. Of course I don't have overly large hands.

I like the SF, of course I have a 30S which is also an SF frame.

I own a 21 gen3. with two hands its not a problem. a single handed quick mag dump is a challenge. If you can find a SF for a decent price I'd get it. I got standard 21 in a trade.

Congrats! You've got to love a high capacity .45.

Also, for about $130 for a conversion barrel, you can run it as a 10mm too.

I have a g21 and like the feel but my hand are large also. I would like to check out the SF to see the difference.

I have had 2 Gen 2's, then a Gen 4, then back to a Gen 3 SF. That is the one I settled on. It feels the best to me.

I have a Gen 3 G21. If I were to buy another Gen 3 G21, it would be a G21 SF. Just like the feel of the frame better.
