What handgun do you carry?

OK, I'll admit that I am a bigot. If the gun isn't a 1911 pattern pistol then I don't like it. I've got more than my wife knows about, but most of them share some very similar traits, most are compact 1911s. A bunch of them are Detonic Combat Masters in various calibers multipe 45s, plus a 9mm and even more rare 38 Super. A couple more are Paras in 9mm and 45.

These two are with me frequently, both are lightweight, one is a single stack 9mm with the LDA trigger, the other is a double stack 45. Both are smaller and lighter than my Colt Officers Model.

A 1911 (Kimber TLE or mild custom Colt) or,
Browning HiPower (Ted Yost custom).

The rest of the time:
HK P7M8
Usually when I need something a little smaller, but sometmes just because I like it.

Hmmm, depends on what I'm doing and where I'm going that day. If it's just around town or bummin around the house, it's a Kel-Tec P32 in a Wild Bill pocket holster. If I go to the "big city" I usually carry a 442 Smith in warm weather or a Kahr PM9. When cold weather comes, I switch to my Colt Commander. But I've carried everything from a NAA .22 mini-revolver to a Mod 29 Smith over the years.....
