Any input on the Springfield 1911 MC Operator? I found a good deal on one and it does look cool. But I don't know if looks are enough to make me actually buy it. Is it much better than the Springfield 1911 Loaded? It costs about $250-300 more than the Loaded.

Was looking at one before I picked up my Dan Wesson Specialist. I'm a big fan of OD green and think it looks great. I think you can't go wrong with it!

I think the only difference between the loaded and the mc is the o d green frame and the rail. I got one for the rail planning on putting a sure fire on it. Never came up with the money for the light.

Fit and finish are exceptional and the slide is like butter. I took mine out for the first time about 5 weeks ago and it did not disappoint. Very enjoyable and the money spent only had a sting for a couple weeks and now it's pure bliss. I added a S&A magwell, LOK magwell grips and some slam pads.
