I recently saw a picture of a 1911 ( on INGO ) with the company's logos, model number removed from the slide. The look is nice and clean. The serations were left alone.

I want this look on one of the Glocks I have. How does one mill, grind or sand all those tattoos off? Is using a machinist, a VERY good machinist the way to go?

Any other ideas on how to achieve this look?

After it is done I would then Cerakote the gun.

Were the markings removed or was the slide made blank? If you remove the markings on the side of a Glock then you'll have a recessed area.
