I don't recall running that through any of my CZs, but I also don't recall any of my CZs being ammo picky. That is, as long as I don't load them long.

I dont see why it should be an issue. I just picked up a box of laquered and later I'll get some tula. I'm seeing how it works on varous ammo types. Need to find some aluminum case stuff.

I've noticed my CZ OEM 18 round "extended" mags struggle with steel cases. The springs don't seem to have the strength to push those higher friction cases up all the time. The gun shoots them fine when the mag feeds properly however. My MecGar 17 rounders have an anti-friction coating and they have no trouble at all with the steel cases. That being said, my OEM compact 14 round mags don't have an issue with steel either. This makes me think that CZ uses the spring from their 16 rounders in the 18 round "extended" mag which would account for it's lack of strength. I'll have to buy a few MecGar 18 rounders and are if the performance improves, I imagine it will.

I do not care for the lacquered ammo because that stuff can build up in your chamber and be difficult to remove.
I stay away from lacquered ammo.

To be honest, I've had numerous issues with the Federal Aluminum in all my firearms due to poor quality control. I thought I had a .40 cal glock kaboom after the gun fired a round that didn't have a rim on the casing. I've pulled bullets out of casings just by ejecting them at the end of a run twice. When I had to start physically inspecting every round to make sure they weren't set to deep I stopped buying it.

Wow, that's the first time I've heard anyone have issues with the Federal Aluminum case. I've never had an issue with it, but I'll be watching carefully in the future.
