I am looking to add another .45 ACP pistol to my collection. I specifically want one with a threaded barrel so I can run my GM-45 on it. I already have a G21SF and a 1911 with threaded barrels, so looking to branch out.

Thinking about an FNX-45 Tactical...but do not know much about FN guns. Having trouble justifying $750+ for a threaded M&P45. Looking for other suggestions.

I don't own either, but the M&P and the FNX-45 would be the first I looked at. My other thought would be a pistol caliber carbine.

FN all the way. 15rd mags and an amazing suppressor host

The HK 45 tac is sweet but I think the FN is a better value cause more capacity, taller sights, and the slide cut out for a reflex sight

In addition, FN is running a promo on the FNX until the end of the year. Buy one and get a free matching Streamlight TLR-1HL (black for black, FDE for FDE)

The FNX 45 T is a sweet shooting pistol. Features include tall night sights, ambi controls, 15+1 of soul killing .45 capacity, slide cut out for reflex sight, and a nice factory trigger. The gun very accurate and extremely reliable. Plus the case it comes with is very nice.

I haven't tried the H&K 45 tactical but I own the FNX-45 tactical and absolutely love it (its hard for me to be objective). Here are some of the pros and cons from my perspective.

    Pros:
Trigger pull is second to none. Light and smooth.
    15+1 45 ACP
    RMR ready
    Extremely quick/ easy field strip
    Reliable
light weight considering caliber and capacity
Tall night sites to see over your can
    3 position safey/decocker
    rugged magazines

    Cons:
Grip is not the most ergonomic or natural to me
Magazine catch protrudes from the mag and can catch on fabric mag carriers

Thats all I've got. here are some pictures for eye candy

FNP45 Tactical. All of the above positive comments are true. I've fired mine with the Silencerco Osprey attached minus hearing protection just a couple times to see how bad the noise level was. It was amazingly pain free, even in an indoor range.

Folks just love to shoot this combo. Mild recoil, accurate, red dot co-wittnessed with the factory sights and 16 rounds without a reload.
